Welcome to the 2026 Brisbane Schools Comp at Mt Cotton!
Welcome back to the start line, riders. Today, your grit is going to be tested as much as your gear. From technical rock gardens to high-speed flow, these three tracks are designed to separate the riders from the legends. The lines are chosen, the stakes are high—which school is going to outwork, outride, and outlast the rest?

Race Tracks
“Escalade” has become a favoured climb track but it’s origins was as a descent. Time to return to the original… Then cross the main fire road and drop into “Powerful Howl” which is great fun. Designed for adaptive cycles means the track is wide but this deceives the inexperienced to believing lines aren’t still important for fast. 1.7km and 105m vertical drop.
Back to using the ever popular “Shenanigans” as our technical test. 1.3km long descending 80m.
“Cotton Canyon Part 1” offers riders a gradual descent where a strong pedal will find the fastest rider.
Liaisons To Starts
- No towing or shuttling permitted at anytime during racing
