- Tracks have been designed to test a variety of skills, including endurance, speed and technical ability.
- Riders may ride each timed section up to 5 times on each track with their fastest time counting.
- Combined best times will be combined for the overall result for each rider.
- Riders earn points for school on each track
- Bonus points awarded for 1st to 4th on each track
- Podiums will be awarded for the top 3 riders in each category, and Champions school.
Bonus: Graduation Cup Format!
We are offering an ADDITIONAL Graduation Cup Teams Classification that combines individual skill with team spirit. Here is how it all works:
Team Manager Nomination:
Each school will have a designated team manager who will coordinate the registration process. Ask your team manager, typically a teacher or faculty member, which team you are in and then you can proceed to the next step:
Team Nomination:
- If you know your team name you can now nominate yourself / each student using the unique link in the Rider Briefing EMAIL.
- You can also nominate a team in bulk – ie all riders in one form via this Google Form (the Rocky Trail team will manually enter that into the timing system). – To do a group nomination you can also use this form on our website.
Team Sizes:
- Each male team will consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 riders.
- Each female team will consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 riders.
- This flexible team size allows schools to assemble teams based on the available riders and ensures that both male and female teams have an appropriate number of members.
Students are welcome to attend independently as well; this is an additional classification and the event will still show the classic Rocky Trail Academy Results for individual riders IN ADDITION to the team classification results. Riders who are nominated in this form in the correct team configuration, will show up in the Graduation Cup Team classification.
Submission Deadline:
- Submit the team nomination before the close of business this Thursday, 25 September.
- Late nominations are possible – please check with the Rocky Trail team at the rego desk in the morning.
Once the team nomination is successfully submitted, monitor the online rider list to ensure team listing is correct.
